AlexANDER Kostal for Milwaukee County Board
For Alex Kostal’s County Board race, I served on his Campaign Committee as Communications Manager and Creative Lead, overseeing all visual communications. I was responsible for translating campaign values into a cohesive brand system and enforcing that system across all voter-facing materials. I designed the campaign’s logo, brand identity and every piece of campaign collateral, including social media communications, handouts, mailers, yard signs, buttons, etc.
The district spans Milwaukee’s East Side through Riverwest. Because of the candidate’s strong connection to the district, we wanted to create an illustrative logo that depicts a well-known landmark within the district—designed to be both representative of the community and memorable across all campaign communications.
This is a brief sampling of the work I did for the campaign.

Ron Jansen for County Board
For Ron Jansen’s County Board race, I acted as Communications Manager and Creative Lead, overseeing all visual communications for the campaign. I designed the campaign’s logo, brand identity and every piece of campaign collateral, including social media communications, handouts, mailers, yard signs, buttons, etc.
We wanted the logo to include iconography that reflects the candidate’s strong values and compassion-forward, humanist approach to politics. We landed on a rose as it’s an often used political symbol that represents care, fairness and dignity.
The color palette takes inspiration from the branding of the Milwaukee County Transit System—a central topic to the campaign.

Sam Harshner for Shorewood Village Trustee
For Sam Harshner’s race for Village Trustee, I served on his Campaign Committee as Communications Manager and Creative Lead, overseeing all visual communications. I was responsible for translating campaign values into a cohesive brand system and executing that system across all voter-facing materials. I designed the campaign’s logo, brand identity and designed every piece of campaign collateral, including social media communications, handouts, mailers, yard signs, buttons, etc.
We wanted the campaign’s branding to illustrate Shorewood’s strong association with water, as it sits right along the bluffs over Lake Michigan.

Ryan Clancy for Wisconsin State Assembly
For Ryan Clancy’s 2024 re-election campaign to the Wisconsin State Assembly, I joined the campaign staff as Communications Manager and Lead Graphic Designer, overseeing all campaign communications including social media, handbills, mailers, yard signs, merchandising, etc.
Building on the existing campaign logo, I refreshed the visual identity by introducing textured elements and photo transparency, extending key motifs from the logo into a cohesive system used throughout social media, handbills, mailers, yard signs, merchandise, and other campaign materials. The result was a consistent, recognizable visual language that strengthened brand continuity while allowing flexibility across formats and contexts.

Chris Fons for Milwaukee School Board
For Chris Fons’ 2025 Campaign for Milwaukee School Board, I was hired as Communications Manager and Lead Graphic Designer for the Campaign. Chris was running unopposed so we only did a couple mailers for community outreach.
